Since 2001 AA Projekts has worked on more than 150 different IT Projects of National Significance, including the national portal Latvija.lv, Cabinet of Ministers regulations IS, State’s document management system, State’s procurement system, e-Health, GeoLatvija.lv, Geospatial planning system, Latvia’s Building IS, State information systems integration platform.

National solution for preventing disaster loss

Client: State Fire and Rescue Service of Latvia
Year: 2020

The goal of the project is to investigate a way to develop a database (KaZa) to collect information about damage and loss caused by disasters and create a technical specification describing the solution to the problem. The database (KaZa) will help analyze the root cause of the loss, create actions and plan events, help develop legislations, and plan resources more efficiently. As a result, more incidents can be prevented, and Latvia as a nation fulfill its international commitments to ANO about climate control. Currently, there is no tool or technical solution that can collect, structure, and analyze the information mentioned above.

SIA “Rīgas namu pārvaldnieks” GDPR

Client: SIA “Rīgas namu pārvaldnieks”
Year: 2020 – 2022

In cooperation with SIA “Rīgas namu pārvaldnieks”, the personal data protection security measures of SIA “Rīgas namu pārvaldnieks” as a controller and processor are planned, coordinated and organized in the defined areas of responsibility. The data protection obligations specified in the regulatory framework are performed as well. This is the largest project to adapt systems to the GDPR.

Information system for managing the assessment processes of disability claims.

Client: VDEĀVK (State Medical Commission for the Assessment of Health Condition and Working Ability)
Year: 2019 – ongoing

Invaliditātes Informatīvās Sistēmas (IIS) – Information system for managing the assessment processes of disability claims. Development of a new Information System that provides a process and workflow-oriented work in the system and within the framework of expertise. The system will ensure automated decision preparation by applying the substantiating regulatory norms from many different legislative documents/sources. The system will provide an employee workload tracker and provide risk reports to meet deadlines. The system will also provide opportunities to improve and configure performance quality controls with automated validations continuously.

VEDLUDB

Client: The State Construction Control Bureau of Latvia

VEDLUDB (Vienotā elektroniskās darba laika uzskaites datubāze) is a united data base used for work time accounting from EDLUS (Elektroniskās darba laika uzskaites sistēma) which is a work time accounting system.

BIS development – 2nd round

Client: The State Construction Control Bureau of Latvia
Year: 2020 –

Development of a detailed project description. Defining a high level vision and goal for BIS development – defining customer needs and future construction development processes (vision for BIM implementation), planning sales, and analyzing and summarizing risks and related issues.

Development of a support center “Helpdesk”

Client: The State Construction Control Bureau of Latvia
Year: 2018

A Helpdesk Support Center has been developed and implemented to provide BIS users throughout Latvia (and beyond) with problematic applications for BIS operation. The Support Center is integrated with the BIS Development Project Management and Change / Maintenance Management System, ensuring that all BIS product-related information is stored in a consistent manner and, accordingly, overall development work is managed and prioritized in one place.

Jama software implementation for State Revenue Service of Latvia

Implement an effective software lifecycle management platform for existing and future Information systems. The platforms key components include development, approval, traceability and maintenance of documentation and software requirements, change management system (based on ITIL framework and best practices) and comprehensive testing suite, that includes precise test spec tracing and execution tools.

Common Customer contact center platform development for Jelgava Municipality

Client: Municipality of Jelgava City
Year: 2016

The goal of the project is development of common customer contact center platform for citizens in municipality. It provides “one-stop shop” customer care processes involving several municipal institutions and service providers for daily incidents and issues management as part of the Smart City solution. Platform’s development scope is customer contact process re-engineering, implementation of software solution and ITC infrastructure modernization.

E-procurement and e-auctioning platform development 2016-2020

Client: State regional development Agency (VRAA)
Year: 2016-2020

Main objective of the further development is extending national information platform for electronic public procurement process by introducing European Single Procurement Document (ESPD) as self-declaration of the businesses’ financial status, abilities and suitability for a public procurement procedure. Implementations of advanced electronic services and open data sets for public use.

E-health integrated information system development

Client: The National Health Service
Year: 2014-2016

Goal of the Project is to replace paper document flow with e-document flow between healthcare institutions, to develop e-services for doctors and patients, ensuring online booking service for patient appointments and electronical access to patient’s own health records.

The goal of the project is to improve the Probation Case Accounting System, by modernizing solution architecture and data structure, in that way ensuring data quality improvement. Development and integration of International Freight Logistics and Port Information System and development of e-services

Year: 2011 – 2015

The objective of the state information system is to promote the transport service operability accuracy, quality and cost reduction, as well as serve as a basis for modern logistics service market development in Latvia. This initiative, aims to efficiently use the Latvian transport infrastructure, increase the competitiveness and ensure smooth transit operations through the country. The system will facilitate electronic information and electronic document exchange processes between organizations and commercial institutions involved in the cargo transportation process, as well as to reduce the use of paper documents and administrative burden.

Latvia held the Presidency of the Council of the European Union in the first half of 2015. To create a new and modern system the project “National Information System for EU documents” has been implemented, since mid 2012. The Project involves the development of national information system that is going to be used during the Presidency and after it by national administrations and authorities to efficiently prepare, develop, exhange and account for European Union documents.
